Family Eye Care Associates is the best place I’ve found for my eye care needs!  From the front staff who is welcoming and kind to Dr. Williams who listens and attends to my unique eyecare needs this place is amazing! We have been clients for a couple of years now. The staff are always so friendly and respectful. When you leave a voicemail they’ll call you back fast. The Drs. are very thorough with their exams and actually explain their findings without having to ask. There is a nice selection of glasses and the prices are good. I had an emergent eye care problem (ulcer) and really wanted to avoid the ER if possible. I called Family Eyecare first thing in the morning and while I was a brand new patient, the front staff was kind and truly cared about my eye pain. She was able to squeeze me in within a couple of hours. I saw Dr. Garlick and was not rushed even though it was a squeeze in appt, and he thoroughly addressed my needs. He even followed up with me twice after to make sure my eye was healing properly. I was a new patient. From the phone inquiry until the end of my appointment, I was given friendly, professional and courteous service. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. Gosh I'm so bad with names but the nice young lady who did the initial exam and  Dr. Sharon were friendly and kind keeping me at ease while explaining the process. The gentleman who assisted me with frame choices knew his job very well and was very accommodating. The staff that were near him helped me model and choose. Wonderful team and exemplary service! I am not a fan of eye doctors. My past experience has made it less than enjoyable between all the lights and the repeatative "1 or 2" BUT this place blew my expectations. When you walk in, the office is open and bright. The front desk is friendly and welcoming, warm even. When you go back for the initial review after paperwork but before the Dr, the experience is more like a conversation than a clinical intake. When the Dr takes over, it's like the conversation just continues rather than starts over. There is no pressure to pick "1 or 2" and if you can't decide, there is no shame is asked to see them each again.  No change in my prescription, but the selection for new frames is amazing for those that need new ones. All I'm saying is the person that worked with me deserves EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH every month ;)

I'm really grateful to have found this practice. I had a wonderful visit from start to end. Highly recommend coming here. The office is clean, modern, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Assistant was informative, kind, careful, and I loved that she explained what was going on. Amazing doctor and super nice staff I’ll have to come back here soon for another eye exam. Other places charge 90-120 for eye exams since I’ve moved I was trying to find somewhere closer but here is $80 yet the doctor is really good and patient and very detailed about everything so I would definitely make the hour drive to come badk. Also last time I ordered contact lenses they sent me trial lenses as well which helped me as I wasn’t able to afford the 6 month worth of lenses at the time.

I unfortunately had to switch eye insurance companies and it's one EyeCare Associates doesn't take, but I wanted to leave a review because I loved the time I got to spend here! I am so grateful for Dr. Garlick and his team. They got me right in when I needed to have my eye examined. I’d gotten something in my eye while gardening and scratched it. He washed out the eye and sent me home with eye drops and I’m better the next morning! This place! They are AMAZING!!! I had torn my contact and called them to get in as a new patient... figuring it was weeks out I dusted off my glasses and made the call... DAYS, they got me in within days! The Office was inviting, and the front desk was actually smiling! That’s a big thing! If staff is happy, patients are happy! The doctor was GREAT! Even tho I was outside my insurance window for coverage, they were reasonably priced. They are always so accommodating, and super friendly! The day of the solar eclipse was my first visit here. The staff are very friendly and personable at Family Eyecare Associates. As a bonus, they seem to enjoy working with each other. I've been through four pairs of glasses and the price of Family EyeCare Associates glasses was the best I've come across. I left with a pair of free eclipse glasses which I took to my next appointment (oil change). I shared the glasses with the oil change guys and the other customers and they were a huge hit. This office is amazing.  I've been a patient for a few years, initially with Dr. Hartman.  In the past, by another doctor in the area, I was told I needed to decide what was more important - seeing up close, or far away.... uhm, WHAT?!  So, I was nervous about him selling the practice and wondered if I would be staying at that office or needing to find a new optometrist.  Well, Dr. Garlick is equally as amazing. I am very satisfied with this clinic and the service I received from Dr. Spencer-Garlick and his staff. It was the first time I felt that I was been heard and not been brushed off, compared to an experience I had with Cascade which was the worst ever. Very Friendly and willing to help. I went their and was at first not wanting to be helped but to just look at frames, but the people their were so nice and excited to help me find the perfect frames that I ended up asking them their opinion on most of the ones I tried on. The woman who helped me (Dian) had a very good eye for picking out glasses that looked good with my face shape, and was the style I was looking for. The staff is amazing! I went in wearing contacts and due to an issue I cant wear contacts for awhile. I had no glasses either. The staff put their heads together and found a way for me to leave their office with glasses. It was a lot of work for them and I cant express how helpful they were! They were flexable on the due payment as well and split it up to help me out. By far the BEST customer service I have had in a long time!!
